Your Call
Imagine that you come upon
a child, lost and wandering,
obviously tired and
shivering with cold,
crying and afraid.
Would you stop to help?
Or would you first look
to see the color of their skin,
what language they speak,
or ask the name of
their people's god,
or whether they had two parents
and what sex they were?
If you answered yes to any
of the last group of questions
then you are that child
and that is not
the way home.
